Welcome to the Linnell Motel

Nestled in the Androscoggin River Valley of the Western Lakes and Mountains of Maine, the Linnell Motel is located on U.S. Route 2 in Rumford.

Rumford is not only the location of one of Maine's largest paper mills, but a passage way through Maine to the Canadian Maritimes or the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

The Linnell Motel is a perfect place to stop, rest and enjoy genuine hospitality and professional courtesy before continuing on your journey.

Our location is convenient. It is an easy drive to the region's most popular destinations, such as the Sunday River Ski Resort in Bethel, the Mt. Abram Ski Resort, the Black Mountain Cross Country Ski Center, the Rangeley Lakes Region and Sugarloaf Mountain in Carrabasset Valley. At the Linnell Motel, guests can enjoy all the attractions that these areas have to offer without paying resort rates.

The Linnell Motel opened its doors in 1954 and has offered comfortable accommodations and great rates to the most discriminating critics of all -- our guests since that time.

Our staff is totally dedicated to serve you and make your stay with us as comfortable and pleasurable as possible.
